We are up on Whidbey Island in Washington State where I spent my summers as a child. My folks still have a cabin up here and I try and fly home as much as humanly possible to relax on the beach and get away from the Nashville heat.
Mom, Gregg, Parker and I spent an entire day driving around the island. First stop.
Greenbank Farm. We bought a pie. Walked around the grounds and enjoyed every minute.
Then we drove up to Coupeville and had an amazing lunch at the
knead and feed bakery. As you can tell from the images, parker did not like any of her pie. Chalkboard Soup of the day...CLAM CHOWDER. I ordered a large bowl and split a turkey and cranberry sandwich on whole wheat with mom. Yum!
What a fun day. My favorite place in the world.
